Effective July 15, 2026
Effective date: July 15, 2026
MakerQ is a product of C3D Prints ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you visit makerq.io, purchase a license, or use the MakerQ desktop application.
MakerQ is self-hosted. The application runs entirely on your own computer. The quote requests, customer details, uploaded files, and business settings you enter into MakerQ are stored locally on your machine and are never transmitted to, collected by, or stored by us. We cannot see your business data or your customers' data. For that data, you are the controller and are responsible for its security, backups, and legal compliance.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate MakerQ, for example, payment processing (Stripe), website analytics, transactional email delivery (from noreply@makerq.io), and hosting for your license record and for application downloads and updates. These providers process your data only as needed to perform their service for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We keep your license/account data while your license is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, email Hi@c3dprints.com. Because MakerQ is self-hosted, personal data you process about your own customers stays under your control on your machine, not ours.
We rely on reputable third-party service providers and industry-standard measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change and material changes will be noted on makerq.io.
